Living in a time where we’re encourage to recycle, and you have a company in salmon arm that won’t recycle glass, get with the times people. One jar got left in my recycling bin and they left over half of the recycling in the bin.

January 31, 2025If I could give a 0 star I would. Lady on the phone was so incredibly rude. Yelling at me for asking why I was charged for an empty bin during a lockdown. Unbelievable. Trying to do business local and with small businesses but rudeness like this makes it really hard.

I’m salmon arm we only get our garbage picked up every 2 weeks. We pay for this with our property taxes. I have a family of 5, do whatever I can to recycle yet over half the time scv will not take it. They give the can a quick shake and tag it as too heavy. My 10 yr old daughter brings out to the curb no problem and the can isn’t even filled to the top. I always have it lined with a garbage bag but they are so inconsistent with what they will and will not take. Contacted scv today, he gave a number to send photos and then no response. Not sure what else residents can do about this company.
