Employees make up endless excuses (outside of their pickup conditions), or are rude when even asking about rolloff service etc. Management is rude and unprofessional, bordering outright hostile. Take your business elsewhere and push City Hall for other options such as in-house waste collection like other municipalities.

January 16, 2019If I could give a 0 star I would. Lady on the phone was so incredibly rude. Yelling at me for asking why I was charged for an empty bin during a lockdown. Unbelievable. Trying to do business local and with small businesses but rudeness like this makes it really hard.

Our business in Vernon has been with SCV for the last 2 years for garbage and cardboard and we’ve have had nothing but excellent service. From quick extra pick ups if we needed them to our rep stopping in to see how things are going. I highly recommend. I’ve used other companies in the past and haven’t received anything close to the great costumer service I have from this company. Five stars for sure!

June 18, 2021I’m salmon arm we only get our garbage picked up every 2 weeks. We pay for this with our property taxes. I have a family of 5, do whatever I can to recycle yet over half the time scv will not take it. They give the can a quick shake and tag it as too heavy. My 10 yr old daughter brings out to the curb no problem and the can isn’t even filled to the top. I always have it lined with a garbage bag but they are so inconsistent with what they will and will not take. Contacted scv today, he gave a number to send photos and then no response. Not sure what else residents can do about this company.
